United She Can: She Leads, We Rise

Celebrate. Connect. Inspire. United She Can is back, and this year we’re raising the bar. Join women and allies in philanthropy for an evening of impact, purpose and leadership. Witness the inaugural Woman of Impact Award recognizing trailblazers who lift their communities and pave the way for others.

This event is hosted by Women United: a collective of women and allies committed to creating lasting change for women, children and families in our community. Women United mobilizes philanthropy and leadership to support United Way’s Community Impact Fund, advancing solutions that strengthen wellbeing in Calgary and area.

Event highlights:

  • Celebrate leadership: be part of the first-ever Woman of Impact Award launch.
  • Activations that spark ideas and action; explore leadership, collaboration and the future women philanthropists are creating.
  • Network with changemakers; connect with peers who are driving real impact.
  • Savour bites, sips and entertainment by local women entrepreneurs and performers (#supportlocal)

The Experience:

Step into a modern take on the Western “salon”: a refined prairie-inspired space where ideas flow as freely as community. Think natural textures and artful nods to Stampede history. This event honours courage, grit and generosity: the spirit of the West embodied by women expanding their influence and uplifting their communities.

In the spirit of our journey to promote reconciliation, we would like to honour the truth of our shared history and acknowledge Treaty 7 territory and the traditional lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy, that includes the Kainai, Siksika, and Piikani First Nations. We acknowledge the traditional lands of the Tsuut'ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations. We would also like to recognize the Métis people, and the Inuit people who have made their home here in Moh'kins'tsis, also known as Calgary.
