Day of Caring with GenNEXT

June 18 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Join Calgary changemakers in their 20s and 30s for an evening of community impact and connection.

GenNEXT is an affinity group that engages young changemakers in their 20s and 30s who are passionate about creating lasting social change. It offers a unique space for emerging leaders to grow personally and professionally while giving back to their community.

We are excited to invite you to our Day of Caring in support of United Way’s partner agency Families Matter.

Join us as we come together to build personal care kits focused on baby essentials that will directly support families in our community. Along the way, you will also learn more about the impact of United Way, GenNEXT and Families Matter, and the important work being done locally to support basic needs in Calgary.

Whether you are looking to give back, learn about local community needs or connect with likeminded changemakers, this is an opportunity for you.

Light refreshments and drinks are provided.

Best part? Meaningful contribution and connection are completely free of charge!

Spots are limited, secure your ticket today!

We thank our corporate partners, ARC Financial Corp for their continued sponsorship of GenNEXT, and BD&P for helping bring this event to life.

Elijah BeaverDay of Caring with GenNEXT

In the spirit of our journey to promote reconciliation, we would like to honour the truth of our shared history and acknowledge Treaty 7 territory and the traditional lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy, that includes the Kainai, Siksika, and Piikani First Nations. We acknowledge the traditional lands of the Tsuut'ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations. We would also like to recognize the Métis people, and the Inuit people who have made their home here in Moh'kins'tsis, also known as Calgary.
