The Women United LeadHERship Panel & Networking Event delivered an unforgettable evening of insight, connection and inspiration for more than 80 women leaders and allies.
Hosted in partnership with United Way of Calgary and Area (United Way), the event featured three Calgary leaders—Allison Grafton, President & CEO of Rockwood Custom Homes; Pam Krause, CEO of the Centre for Sexuality; and Fauzia Lalani, P. Eng, eMBA, Executive Lead at the Calgary Stampede and Vice-Chair of United Way Centraide Canada—with United Way Campaign Co-Chair Linda Olsen serving as moderator. Each speaker offered thoughtful perspectives on leadership, navigating work–life balance and choosing where to invest time, talent and resources. Together, they offered grounded, candid perspectives on leadership, balance and purpose.
Fauzia encouraged attendees to treat feedback as an act of care, reminding the room that constructive guidance should never be sugar-coated but always delivered thoughtfully and strategically. Allison spoke to the power of courage in leadership, describing it as moving forward even when fear remains and emphasizing the importance of self-care as the foundation for serving others well. Pam reminded the audience that they are—or can choose to be—restless thinkers and thoughtful actors, urging participants to stay curious and intentional in their actions.
