Jana Mosley
Jana is President of ENMAX Power, an organization that has supported United Way’s work for over 25 years. During the pandemic, ENMAX increased their contributions to United Way’s Basic Needs Fund, supporting emergency assistance with housing, utilities, and food.
During these recent difficult economic times for Calgarians, ENMAX double-matched their employee donations and prepared food hampers and care packages for agencies, including the Distress Centre. ENMAX knows the power of community and giving back, helping to strengthen the communities we live and work in.
Jana was a panelist at United Way’s Creating Impact Forum in 2022, where she spoke about how ENMAX’s partnership with United Way boosts employee engagement, and how a corporation with strong social purpose has an advantage with regard to attracting and retaining leadership talent.
Jana sits on several boards and was a 2022 Calgary Influential Women in Business award recipient.
Vivek Warrier
Vivek is a Partner with the Energy Industry team at Osler (Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP). In the past 12 years, Osler’s Canadian offices have raised more than $16 million in support of United Way; in 2022, they raised more than $1.1 million for United Way across Canada.
Locally, since 1996 Osler and its employees have contributed over $2.9 million to United Way of Calgary and Area through their annual workplace campaigns. Osler has a firm-wide culture of supporting and empowering the Calgary community through sponsoring and participating in numerous initiatives and programs.
Vivek has been a member of United Way’s Major Donor Cabinet since 2017 and was acting cabinet co-chair in 2021 and 2022. Extensively involved in and dedicated to the community, Vivek also served as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Centre for Newcomers, one of United Way of Calgary and Area’s agency partners, for over nine years.
