Every year, United Way’s campaign to build a better community across Calgary and area is supported by thousands of generous donors who help us create lasting social change through high impact partnerships and strategic investments.

At United Way, we hold ourselves accountable to our supporters by sustaining our investments in the community and maintaining a fundraising cost ratio that is among the lowest in Canada. Our board and its committees ensure appropriate financial standards and controls are in place to meet our supporter’s expectations.

United Way of Calgary and Area works with the accounting firm PwC, who act as our auditors. PwC has consistently found the financial position of our organization to be in accordance with national accounting standards for registered charitable organizations.
