Learn about the story of Canada pre and post colonization through an interactive exercise. Note: this is an emotionally heavy activity.

Through an interactive activity facilitated by Indigenous knowledge keepers and in support of an Elder, participants will learn about the story of Indigenous people of Canada. The activity will start on blankets to represent the land before colonization and will go through a timeline of events to show how colonization has impacted Indigenous people. This can be an emotionally heavy activity so please come with an open heart and an open mind.
