This week, we teamed up with Symend, Sanjel, and Staples Canada store #50 to stuff STEM Success backpacks for All In for Youth. There’s a significant digital divide in our community, and families struggling to get by may not be able to ensure their young students have the tools they need to thrive in science, technology, engineering, and math classes (STEM). That’s why United Way of Calgary and Area is working with our partners to help these young scholars stay focused on their work.

We were thrilled that these two organizations also purchased a pile of graphing calculators and STEM success backpacks that will keep kids learning, growing and thriving. A representative from All In for Youth also shared the value of tech-focused donations, and our partners at Staples once again stepped up to create a better tomorrow!

All In for Youth is making a difference in the lives of hundreds of Calgary kids, and if you’d like to learn more about how you can get involved in reducing the digital divide, email laura.thiessen@calgaryunitedway.org.
