Jordan Guildford started a small jewelry drive to give Christmas gifts to women in Calgary shelters. Over the past four years, she has grown it into the multi-faceted charity named Gems for Gems that helps women build self-confidence and life skills to end the cycle of domestic abuse. Jordan is excited to be the team lead for the United Way ambassador program as she is passionate about making an impact in the community.
Dr. Tito Daodu is an award-winning researcher, volunteer, and pediatric surgeon fellow at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Actively involved in global and public health research, Dr. Daodu is focussed on improving surgical outcomes and making surgical care more accessible. She is looking forward to being part of the United Way ambassador program to use her time and energy outside of work to impact her community.
Rachel Wade pushes the boundaries of inclusion and diversity in corporate Calgary through her company, Including You Consulting. She is also the Manager of Global Diversity & Inclusion at Parkland Fuel. Rachel is excited to be part of the Ambassador program as she believes in the innovative and pro-active approach that United Way takes by working with organizations and agencies.
